Flexo printing is an important embodiment of the development of green productivity in the new quality productivity of the printing industry, and the development of the industry continues to maintain a good momentum. He affirmed a large number of fruitful work of the flexo printing branch, put forward suggestions such as improving the standing position to build consensus, strengthening the performance of duties, and looked forward to the broad development prospects of flexo printing in China in the future.

Yang Ailing, vice president and professor of Shanghai Publishing and Printing College, made a theme report on "Interpretation of the 2024 China Flexographic Printing Development Report". Through detailed research data, she deeply analyzed the development status of flexographic printing, the status quo of environmental protection, the application and development prospects of green and intelligent technology, and interpreted the development trend and main constraints of flexographic printing. Based on the results and conclusions of the survey, she also put forward five suggestions, including increasing the publicity and implementation of policy standards, strengthening the development and application of new technologies, and cultivating professional talents with multiple parties.

She introduced the overview of the DRUPA 2024 exhibition, the participation of Chinese printing manufacturers and flexo printing enterprises, and analyzed the development achievements of flexo printing in many aspects such as high-precision, high-quality plate making, application of environmentally friendly materials and technologies, digitalization and intelligence, as well as the development path of domestic flexo printing, and hoped that flexo printing enterprises will continue to enhance their innovation capabilities and improve the level of integrated professional services.

Cai Chengji, consultant of the flexo printing branch, gave a keynote speech on "Starting from the pre-press link and leading the digital transformation of the flexo printing industry chain". He showed a number of label printing cases, analyzed the development situation of digital printing after the DRUPA 2024 exhibition, the goal and process of flexographic intelligence, the reasons for the digital transformation of flexographic printing from the pre-press link, and how to prepare for the connection with digital printing. He proposed that taking the initiative to embrace digital printing will resolve the resistance to the development of flexographic printing, and green environmental protection and efficient production capacity are the talisman of flexographic printing.
